Validate Power Integrity Using an Oscilloscope
April 10, 2024 | 11:00 AM
Modern power delivery is more challenging than ever before. Multiple point-of-load power rail levels and integrated power management integrated circuits (PMICs) can make design layout and final debug / test difficult when validating power rail operating margins.
Wide-bandgap, fast-switching gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) devices and high-current, multiphase designs create low-impedance challenges you can’t ignore. Poor designs suffer from excessive noise that causes electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) failures.
This webinar will help you:
- Learn about the evolution of semiconductors and the switched-mode power supply.
- Understand the basic power integrity measurement workflow.
- Discover which measurement probes and oscilloscope software you need to debug high-current, low-voltage power rail noise problems.
